The Program
Violet Cooking Academy is designed for young chefs ages 9–17, offering age-appropriate classes that spark creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of cooking.
Through hands-on participation, live demonstrations, and flavorful tastings, students develop skills that range from kitchen basics to advanced techniques. Each four-hour session is a fun and empowering culinary adventure where kids and teens explore seasonal produce, global ingredients, and essential kitchen tools.
*Because our camps often fill quickly, daily registrations are offered the week prior when space is available.

Cook Like a Pro: Kids
Status: Open For Registration*
Age Group: Kids (Age 9-12)
Date & Time: June 22-26 | Monday‒Friday, 10AM‒2PM
Price: $750 + tax per week or $150 + tax per day
A fun, hands-on cooking adventure designed to build skills and confidence in young chefs. Led by our Chef Instructors, this week-long camp introduces your child to essential cooking techniques such as knife skills, mise en place, ingredient selection, sauce making and cooking methods.
Each day offers new skills, tasty recipes, and plenty of chances to get creative in the kitchen. On the final day, campers will dive into a bread-baking intensive and take home their handmade loaves.
Campers spend the week cooking, tasting and learning together, gaining invaluable kitchen know-how for life.

Cook Like a Pro: Teens (SOLD OUT)
Status: Open For Registration*
Age Group: Teens (Age 13 - 17)
Date & Time: June 29 - July 2 | Monday‒Friday, 10AM‒2PM

Price: $600 + tax per week or $150 + tax per day

Date & Time: July 6-11 | Monday ‒ Saturday, 10AM‒2PM
(*Saturday's timing is different to prepare for the family meal.)
Price: $900 + tax (no daily registration)
The Food & Hospitality Intensive Program offers campers a behind-the-scenes look at the restaurant industry while building real-world kitchen confidence and essential life skills. Over six sessions, participants will work alongside professional chefs and hospitality experts to learn cooking techniques, service etiquette, and what it takes to run a successful dining experience.
Inspired by the high standards of Violet Bistro & Cooking School, this hands-on program covers everything from ingredient sourcing and budgeting to menu planning and guest experience. The final session culminates in a special dinner prepared and served by the students for their families—a chance to put their new skills into action in a full-service restaurant setting.
The final dinner will be hosted at Violet Cooking School on Saturday, July 11th, where family members are invited to enjoy a thoughtfully curated meal prepared by the participants. This program is open to teens only and is ideal for those who already have some culinary experience and are eager to take a deeper dive into the world of food and hospitality. *An additional program fee applies.
There's an Additional Day For This Week (Saturday, July 11th). Participants must be available for all 6-days of camp.

Flavors of the World: Kids

This summer, we’re setting our sights on the Mediterranean—exploring the bright, bold flavors of coastal cuisines from Italy, Greece, and the sun-soaked region of Provence, along with a few delicious surprises along the way.
Each day, campers will step into a new culinary destination, learning fun cultural facts, working with fresh ingredients, and cooking hands-on recipes inspired by these iconic regions. Think handmade pasta, vibrant Greek dishes, rustic French classics, and simple, beautiful food that lets ingredients shine.
From rolling dough to building flavor, kids will discover how people cook and eat across the Mediterranean. Led by Violet’s chef instructors, this camp is a fun, flavorful way for young chefs to build confidence in the kitchen, expand their palates, and travel the world—one dish at a time.

Baking Camp is the perfect place for young bakers to learn, create, and have fun in the kitchen! Whether you're brand new to baking or want to level up your skills, this week-long camp is packed with hands-on lessons and sweet treats.
Led by professional chefs, campers will learn how to make everything from colorful French macarons to rustic fruit pies and galettes. We'll explore sponge and layer cakes, plus spend time practicing piping techniques to decorate like a pro. Get ready to mix, roll, bake, and decorate your way through a delicious week of baking fun!
Lunch is always provided.
